Data and credits
Credits are ordered by what makes this view useful, while each source is named for the part it supplies. On-map provider attribution remains visible.
Bing Maps aerial imagery: the visible Earth imagery arrives through Cesium ion. PANOPTES adds its own interface and controls; Bing does not supply live aircraft or station locations.
CesiumJS and Cesium ion: one credit for the 3D globe renderer, world terrain, imagery delivery, OSM Buildings, and built-in water-mask sun glint when enabled. There is no third-party live ocean camera or custom ray tracing. CesiumJS is Apache-2.0 licensed; terrain, imagery and buildings have separate terms.
Where the ISS at?: reported ISS position and orbital elements. PANOPTES calculates the single predicted orbit with satellite.js; the line is not recorded travel or a live camera view.
TLE API: a candidate for Tiangong orbital elements. It returned inconsistent epochs, so PANOPTES has paused the Tiangong marker and track rather than claiming a current position.
Open-Meteo: model temperature for the optional broad-area color overlay, CC BY 4.0. PANOPTES interpolates coarse points; this is not a street-level reading.
OpenStreetMap contributors and Nominatim: OSM building/place data, plus geographic search and reverse geocoding. They do not provide PANOPTES live satellite positions.
Wikipedia and Wikidata: landmark search and ranking. Wikipedia text is not republished; Wikidata is CC0.
NASA 3D Resources: ISS model, compressed and enlarged for visibility. NASA live ISS views: third-party video opened on demand, not a guaranteed always-live interior feed. NASA does not endorse PANOPTES.
